This visualized reinforced laryngeal mask carries a micro camera at the mask tip, streaming a live image of the advancing path to the bedside monitor, so the operator watches the mask pass the tongue base, glide over the epiglottis, and settle in the hypopharynx in real time.

Fold-over tips, entrapment of the epiglottis, and incomplete seating — the classic blind-insertion complications — become visible and correctable during insertion instead of being inferred afterward from a poor seal. The reinforced tube beneath keeps the airway patent through head movement once the camera has done its job.
