This pediatric uncuffed endotracheal tube is designed specifically for neonatal and infant airways, where the natural narrowing at the cricoid ring already provides an effective seal. With no cuff to inflate, the full internal lumen is preserved for ventilation, and one whole category of cuff-related trauma is removed from the case before it starts.
