Product Description

A standard laryngeal mask seals the larynx but leaves the esophagus open above the cuff, which is why regurgitated gastric content can still reach the airway in high-risk patients. The double lumen laryngeal mask closes that gap.

Its second lumen, a dedicated gastric channel, passes behind the cuff directly into the upper esophagus, draining regurgitated fluid away from the airway and providing a route for a gastric tube to decompress the stomach without disturbing the airway seal. For fasted-but-risky patients, obese lists, and emergency cases with unknown fasting status, this is the supraglottic airway that behaves like a barrier, not just a tube.
